Summary

Assists in the activities or tasks in Source-to-Pay area(s) or the procurement of goods and services. Role is primarily administrative support of the source-to-pay or purchasing function and may involve some low-level purchasing of off-the-shelf items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting source-to-pay team members, processes, &/or standards.

  • Maintains files and records of materials, services, prices, inventories, and deliveries.

  • Receives incoming mail and deliveries and routes to appropriate personnel.

  • Answers telephone and gives information or routes calls to appropriate personnel.

  • Provides support to the procurement or stock room function throughout the facility as required.

  • Compiles information and records to prepare purchase orders.

  • Consults catalogs and other references to obtain prices and specifications.

  • May contact vendors and suppliers to follow up on outstanding purchase orders or issues

Typical Education

Bachelor's degree preferred

Relevant Experience

No prior experience required
